17 Frost Theater of the Arts

Apr 22 2011
MAY 7-MAY 26
Artwork by Deborah Adams, Elizabeth Ennis, Joanna Hartell, Margaret Heffeman, Jeanelle Marie, Hillary Moore, David Moreira, Patricia Sprott, and Lili White.
Music curated by Matthew Osktrowski.
“Off the Grid” is a formalist show. A grid of lines dissect each other: like blocks of streets make a city, this network of artists crosses, creating a power grid. This show is a matrix, a lattice, a reticulation.
The Artists
painters – Deborah Adams (deborahadamspainting.blogspot.com), Margaret Heffernan (www.mystery-rock.org), Hillary Moore, David Moreira (www.davidboydleemoreira.blogspot.com), and Patricia Sprott
photographers – Elizabeth Ennis, and Joanna Hartell, an installation by Jeanelle Marie (jeanellemarie.com/), and experimental video by Lili White (liliwhite.com)
The music at the opening is curated by electronic artist Matthew Ostrowski (ostrowski.info/) and features at the work of David Linton (http://bicameral.multiply.com/), Matthew Ostrowski & Andrea Parkins, and Kamran Sadegi (kamransadeghi.com).
